About the Augusta Richmond County Board of Trustees

Over 240 years since the Trustees of the City was established more than 130 men have given generously of their time and effort serving the city of Augusta. In addition to maintaining the old Academy and Medical College buildings in Augusta, Georgia, the trustees are also responsible for the Joseph Lamar Scholarship and for administering the Porter Fleming Fund.
