Bleakley Chandler

Bleakley Chandler, a lifelong resident of Augusta, Georgia, has been a dedicated cardiologist for over three decades. Since 1990, he has specialized in treating patients with advanced heart failure and currently practices at the Piedmont Health Care System. Bleakley earned his undergraduate degree in English from Washington and Lee before pursuing his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia.
Outside of his professional career, Bleakley enjoys fox hunting and speaking French. He and his wife Susan are proud parents of three grown children: Bleak III, Ford, and Elizabeth.
In 2019, Bleakley became a Trustee, continuing a family legacy started by his father, Bleakley Sr., who first served as a trustee in 1984. Bleakley is also a board member of the Augusta Museum of History.
