Patrick H. Perry

Patrick Perry was born in Augusta, Georgia, on May 24, 1950. He is the son of Owen Perry, Jr and Joy O'Brien Perry.
Patrick attended Forest Hills Elementary School and Langford Junior High before entering Richmond Academy. He graduated from Richmond Academy in 1968.
After graduation, he attended Washington and Lee University and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1972., receiving a bachelor's degree. He chose a career in the accounting profession with Arthur Andersen and Co. in Charlotte, North Carolina and later in Augusta with Bedingfield, McCutcheon and Perry.
Mr. Perry has served as Chairman of the March of Dimes, Chairman of Augusta Chapter of American Red Cross and President of the Tuttle Newton Home. He is a member of Augusta Country Club and served as it's president in 2001.
Mr. Perry joined the Trustees of the Academy of Richmond County in 2003.
He is married to Marie Dienst Perry, and they had four children, twins Pat and Chris born March 1, 1977, Rob born September 11, 1978, and Kathryn born January 27, 1984. Rob later died on March 16, 1988.
The Perry family annually honors Rob, an outstanding junior golfer, with the presentation of the Rob Perry Cup to the winner of the summer long "Race for the Rob Perry Cup" at the Augusta Country Club.
